Cally began dancing at the age of 6 in Sherwood Park. She continued her training as a student at the Edmonton School of Ballet, and subsequently joined the Edmonton Festival Ballet as a soloist at the age of 14. She performed with the Edmonton Festival Ballet for one year prior to attending the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School’s professional division. Her ballet and contemporary training led her to perform with Ballet British Columbia’s mentorship program.
Throughout her career, she has developed her artistry by training in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Tap, Musial theatre, Contemporary, Street Jazz, Improvisation, and Pilates. Cally completed her Associate Diploma in 2007; she is currently working on her Licentiate credentials. Her students have gone onto many professional dance careers as well as other careers in the art’s community. Presently Cally is an instructor with the Edmonton School of Ballet and Dancefusion Academy of dance. She has recently become an accredited examiner for the Edmonton School of Ballet.
Cally’s training and performances have aided her in becoming a very passionate and enthusiastic teacher. Cally is looking forward to her continued studies as an instructor and Choreographer and continues to share her drive, passion and love of all forms of dance.
